April Miller is a K-12 Special Education Coordinator for a school in Northern New Mexico.  Ms. Miller has 17 years experience as an educator.  She has worked with students as young as 18 months to as old as 22 years.  She enjoys leading a team of talented individuals and supporting students, their families, teachers, and staff.  She looks forward to working with JMP Academy and sharing her genuine love of people and education with others.Ms. Miller obtained her bachelor's degree in English Language Arts at the Ohio State University.  She received her master's degree in Special Education from Otterbein University.  She also has a Montessori Certification.  She moved to New Mexico after fulfilling an internship and falling in love with the people, culture, and mountains.Ms. Miller is also a "boy mom."  She loves spending time with her family in nature, hiking, biking, kayaking, reading, watching movies, art, and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes.  She also loves to travel and explore new places.
