Education is in a difficult state: increased accountability, changing expectations, unclear guidelines. Our children deserve the best, but what is the best? What does it look like? How do we translate government expectations into something practical (and possible!) in a brick and mortar building (and virtual schools!) with real children and teachers? How do we change?

Butterflies are so beautiful, but the change they endure is not easy. Education can be beautiful and change, while not easy, is possible.

We can work together to change outcomes for children.

All kids deserve an excellent education.

Let’s exceed expectations.

What do others say?

Dr. Peña has made our systems and procedures clean and uniform and widely understood among the adults in our schools in a very short time. This has made our work with our students more intentional and comprehensive and made our reporting much easier. The only thing that outshines her technical excellence in the field, however, is her dedication to our school community. She is very much a member of our team and exemplifies what it looks like to work hard, be mission-driven, and treat others with kindness and humor. Her work is invaluable to us.
